I believe that movement is medicine and that the human body is incredibly resilient. My education and experience enable me to be thorough in my guidance for rehabilitation from injury or illness; active and healthy living; and sport performance. My approach to treatment is evidence based and clinically informed, and uses skilled hands-on techniques, exercise and movement, and intramuscular stimulation (IMS / dry needling). I integrate physiotherapy plans into clients’ lives and training schedules to best support their recovery.

I achieved my Master of Physical Therapy and my Master of Kinesiology in Sport Physiology and Coaching Science at the University of British Columbia. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, I worked for several years as a strength and conditioning consultant to athletes in a variety of sports, and coached competitive university and high school rowing. Currently, I sit on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Disability Foundation and teach in the UBC School of Kinesiology.

In my spare time you’ll find me running outside, hiking or biking on the mountains, or on the water coaching rowing. I am always planning an adventure and am keen to hear about any great travel destinations or experiences.
